Maritime Bank’s staff members visited children from low-income people in the central province of Nghe An early September as part of their charity activities.
In Yen Tinh Commune, Tuong Duong District of Nghe An, the staff met more than 400 children from low-income families and handed cash and presents to them on Sep. 3. The presents included textbooks, notebooks, pens and schoolbags for the new school year, which opens on Sep. 5.

The Vietnamese bank’s staff also hosted a Mid-Autumn party for all the children.
Mid-Autumn Festival is a festive time for Vietnamese children.
Tuong Duong District was one of Nghe An’s worst hit areas during flashfloods late June. Most of schools in the district have seen damage.
In addition, the bank’s staff will go to the central highland province of Dak Lak to visit poor patients at Buon Ma Thuot General Hospital on Sep. 9.
