The electro-mechanic workshop of the Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipments Company (BIDIPHAR) has successfully invented low-capacity medical waste furnace BDF-LDR30, according to the Binh Dinh Department of Public Health.
BDF-LDR30 is used for burning medical waste in two combustion chambers (primary and secondary) and fully reprocessing medical solid wastes such as dressings, organic and inorganic substances and human tissue.
Wastes are totally destroyed with low proportion of ash and no organic substances so that it can be buried without harming the environment.
This invention has been developed by the workshop’s researchers into a scientific research “Medical waste furnace of 30 kg/lot”.
The research was awarded a fair grade by the approval committee when being defended at the provincial level. The Bong Son General Hospital will be the first hospital to use BDF-LDR furnace.
