This year’s festival was held under the theme “Mid-Autumn Festival: Remembering Uncle Ho,” and focused on honoring and expressing gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh. The celebrations were comprised of numerous exciting games and singing performances.

NA Chairman Trong said that thanks to the country’s development in recent years, the physical and spiritual lives of the municipal people have greatly improved. Due to this improvement, according to Chairman Trong, this year’s festival was much more exciting than previous ones.

Mr. Trong also praised the city’s children for their efforts in school and hoped that they will continue to follow Uncle Ho’s advice to become model citizens for their country.

After delivering his speech, NA Chairman Trong presented the children with gifts and admired 40 festival-themed food trays decorated by local schools.

Moreover, in other parts of the country numerous gifts and scholarships were given to disabled and disadvantaged children by local charity organizations in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
