New homes for people in Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc's border districts

To help poor residents in border districts Tan Chau and Tan Bien, the southern province of Tay Ninh has relocated them in new residential blocks Chan Riec in Tan Lap Commune in Tan Bien District. 

These residents have dilapidated houses without farms or rice paddle fields, therefore Tay Ninh authority built a 643 hectare residential quarter doe 500 households along border gate so that they can do business to escape poverty. Each household received a new house worth VND70 million (US$3,149) and one hectare farm.

At present, the new residential block Chang Riec has 291 households and they all started their live to grow sugar canes, cassavas, pepper, cashew, and rubber trees. In addition to Chang Riec residential block, Tay Ninh Province also has 500 hectare Cau Sai Gon 2 residential quarter in Tan Chau District for 400 needy households.

The southern province of Binh Phuoc also construct residential blocks for disadvantaged ethnic minority and give jobs to them including forest protection in border belt in Loc Hoa commune in Loc Ninh District.

There will be 300 households to live there in new houses. There will be electricity, school, and roads in the new block. Total expenditure for new residential block is VND114.125 billion (US$5.2 million).
