Teams of female medical workers of the Intensive Care Unit of leading Cho Ray Hospital, devoted teams of Anesthesiology unit of the Central Military 108 Hospital, teams of teachers in Amsterdam Senior High School for gifted students in Hanoi and female who offer employment for local women were awarded at the ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue lauded outstanding women for their accomplishments in the fields. He asserted the role of women in the process of building the country and innovation as well as their role in families including taking care of and educating children.
The Deputy PM expected the Union to have measures to improve its activities and movements to give opportunities to women to develop in the country's industrialization and modernization.
The Union also gave certificates of merit to 22 women who made 22 creative products. Additionally, the union promised to support 9 feasible ideas with the maximum aid of VND150 million ($6,602)
