PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc commemorates former leaders of State, Government

On the coming lunar New Year, Vietnamese Prime Minister (PM) Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Standing Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh yesterday offered incense to commemorate lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho, the acting president of Vietnam from April, 1980 until July 1981, the former National Assembly Chairman cum Deputy Chairman of the Council of State.

Currently, many photos relating to the lawyer’s revolutionary life since he joined the Southern Uprising to the presidency of Chairman of Consultative Council of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam and Consultative Council of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam have been saved at the Memorial House of lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho. 

Earlier, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Standing PM Truong Hoa Binh offered incense to former Chairman of the State of Council, vice-chairman of the Council of Ministers and advisor to the Party Central Committee Vo Chi Cong.

PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc reviewed great contributions of former leaders of the State and Government including former chairman Vo Chi Cong for the revolutionary career of the Vietnamese Communist Party and the nation. 

On the same day, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Standing deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh burnt incense to commemorate and honor great devotions of former Chairman of the State of Council Pham Hung and former PM Vo Van Kiet
