He assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment to get opinions from ministries of Internal Affairs, Construction and Transport to build a project to establish the board as per regulations. The project should be submitted to the PM in July.
Traffic jam occurs everyday during peak hours in the two cities. Many projects have been implemented to build flyovers and broaden streets.
However traffic jam has not reduced and returned soon after roads are expanded because of quick increase in mechanical population together with private vehicles, which have overloaded traffic, education, health and other infrastructures.
