Power Output Falls Short During Peak Usage Hours

Because several power sources are being repaired and because the water levels at hydro plants are low, electric production is expected to by 500-1,400 megawatts short of demand during peak hours, according to the Electricity of Vietnam Group (EVN).

Around 11,100-11,700 megawatts is being produced for the national grid while peak demand is projected at 12,200-12,500 megawatts.
