Regulations on Anti-Corruption Committee Approved

The National Assembly Standing Committee’s 41th session, scheduled to take place from July 25 to 28 in Ha Noi, will vote for the approval of the Decision on structure, responsibility, authority and operation mechanism of the Central Steering Committee on Corruption Prevention and Control.

Better prevention of corruption is expected to be possible with the new law.

Under the Law on Corruption Prevention and Control, the committee is led by the Prime Minister, and a deputy minister in charge of anti-corruption is also the standing member of the committee.

The session will vote for the approval of the Decision on foreign-related housing civil transactions made prior to July 1, 1991 and listen to the government’s report on the allocation of state budget for investment development in the period of 2004-2006.

The Committee will also comment on the criteria of expenditure allocation for investment development from state budget in the period of 2007-2010.
