Thailand Adds More Products of Viet Nam to Its AISP List

Thailand has recently announced an addition of another 36 Vietnamese products in 36 HS 8-digit tariff lines to the list of products subject to its ASEAN Integration System of Preferences (AISP), increasing the total products to 99.

The duty rate applicable to the 36 products is 0%. The conditions on the preferential treatment remain unchanged. The Ministry of Trade has issued Circular 6212/TM-CP dated December 21, 2005 on the AISP, attaching the AISP list that Thailand applies to Viet Nam.

Previously, Indonesia announced additional products of Viet Nam to be added to the list of products subject to its ASEAN Integration System of Preferences (AISP) including 71 tariff lines. Nine of these 71 tariff lines are in the list of AISP, which is lower than CEPT’s.

Also, The Philippines announced an addition of 62 Vietnamese products to the list of products subject to its AISP.
