Earlier, the province Party Committee and the Ho Chi Minh National Political-Administrative Academy held a seminar on Tran Phu, burned incense at his tomb, and visited his commemorative house in Tung Anh Commune, Duc Tho District.

Tran Phu, who was born on May 1, 1904, in a patriotic Confucian scholar’s family, made great contributions to the revolution and building the party.

He was imprisoned by the French colonialists in April 1931 and died two months later in jail as a result of savage torture. He was just 27.
