Vietnam History Development Fund established

The Vietnam History Science Association launched the Vietnam History Development Fund as a nonprofit organization on October 11 in Hanoi.

The organization aims to provide more training programmes for historians in the country and strengthen research on the development of the country’s history.

Professor Phan Huy Le, chairman of the Vietnam History Science Association, said he hoped the fund would contribute in changing community perceptions and awareness of the country’s history.

A ceremony marking the 45th anniversary of the Vietnam History Science Association will be held in Hanoi on October 22.

On this occasion, the Vietnam History Science Association will be awarded the 1st Class Labor Medal.
