Within 10 years, 86.3 percent of communes countrywide have completed irrigation construction. 80 percent of farming land where rainfall is irregular or dry times or drought is expected have been supplied with water.
The Ministry announced that each province must have two districts achieving irrigation standard or 95 percent of rural areas finishing the standard from 2021 to 2025.
