At the meeting, Lao ambassador to Vietnam Thongsavanh Phomvihane expressed his pleasure at the visit of the Vietnamese diplomatic delegation; and affirmed the Party, Government and people of Laos always respect and deepen the special relationship between the two nations.
Deputy Minister Bui Thanh Son emphasized an important mean of the the Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2017, the 55th establishment anniversary of diplomatic ties and the 40th anniversary since Vietnam and Laos co-signed Friendship and Cooperation Treaty.
