VN leaders send congratulatory messages on India’s Independence Day
Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh yesterday cabled congratulations to President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovindp, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of Foreign Affairs of India Sushma Swaraj on the 70th anniversary of the Republic of India’s Independence Day (August 15, 1947- 2017).

On the same day, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong and President Tran Dai Quang sent congratulatory messages and flowers to Bounnhang Volachith, General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and Resident of Laos on his the 80th birthday.
