Water quality improvement program to be run to benefit disadvantaged areas

A water quality improvement program will be run to benefit disadvantaged areas to improve residents’ living condition, said Tien Phong newspaper at its press brief yesterday in Hanoi.

The program will give water reservoirs and containers to communes in 85 districts in 30 cities and provinces which have been selected according to the Prime Minister’s decision 275/QD-TTg on March, 7, 2018.
Additionally, the program will be also carried out in poor and disaster-hit communes.
At first , the program will provide water containers to communes in the northwest, central , highland and Mekong delta plus grant scholarships to children of low-income families.
The program lasts from September, 2019 to September, 2020. Each gift is worth at least VND2 billion ($86,201). Moreover, the program organizer will give good quality water filter to schools and local medical facilities.
The program under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the High Command of Border Guard and local governments, agencies was jointly run by Tien Phong Newspaper and Tan A Dai Thanh Corporation.
