Ms.Tran Thi Anh who works for Electricity Company in Son Tra District in the central city of Da Nang collected a plastic bag with a tin of candy and lots of cash when she was on the way home in February 24.
Because it rained heavily, Anh sheltered from rain in the house’s awning at 226 Ngu Hanh Son Street.
A few minute later, Anh saw a woman who was completely panic-stricken and looking for a plastic bag. Anh asked the woman some questions of special features of the bag to verify whether she was the real owner of the lost money.
The owner of the lost money described features as the same of the bag Ms. Anh was keeping, saying that she intended to use the sum for the buying land.
After receiving the lost money, the woman proposed a cash gift to thank Anh for her honesty yet Anh refused.
Some days later Director of Electricity Company Ngo Tan Cu presented a certificate of merit and VND2 million in cash to Tran Thi Anh who deserved recognition for her kindness.
