The Thuong Kon Tum Hydropower Plant on the Dak Nghe River is the largest of its kind in the province.
The 220 MW plant is expected to link up with the national 220 KV electricity grid in 2013.
Once completed in 2014, it will also contribute to maintaining water flow in the Tra Khu River in Quang Ngai Province, serving agriculture and industry in the neighboring plains.
