More than 1,200 workers and staff of the Dung Quat Refinery in Quang Ngai Province have diligently accepted three shifts a day during Tet, said Mr. Nguyen Hoai Giang, director general of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited, which is responsible for the management and operations of Dung Quat Refinery.

Welcoming Lunar New Year on the site itself happens each year. Engineer Nguyen Bang Hai of Vinh Phuc Province enjoyed his fourth Tet on the site at Dung Quat Refinery saying that though everybody wants to go home for Tet and spend time with their families, they must overcome this desire so as to ensure the smooth functioning of the refinery.

The company leaders offered Tet gifts, organized cultural and entertainment programmes and encouraged the whole staff to enjoy a warm and joyful Tet on the factory site.

Dung Quat Refinery plans to manufacture and sell about 6 million tons of products with a total turnover of VND 108 trillion and contribute to the state budget over VND 15 trillion.
