The central region of Vietnam is currently reeling under another heat wave, with average temperatures at 35-36 degrees Celsius accompanied with hot and dry winds.
The National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center said that hot and dry conditions will continue to prevail over wide areas in the north-central and mid-central provinces on Tuesday. In some places, mercury will soar above 36 degrees Celsius.
The low pressure zone, which brought rain into the northern region, has abated. Hot weather is returning but it is not as severe as in the central region.
The southern region and Ho Chi Minh City will continue to see erratic sunshine over the next one to two days. Temperatures will hover around 25-34 degrees Celsius and rainstorms will occur in the afternoons.
