Bad weather covers East Sea

The Gulf of Tonkin has suffered sea rough and strong wind of level 5- 7 from the south and southeast, reported the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center.

Medium- heavy rains cover the westward of the northern region because of the influence of wind convergence into mainland.

By tonight, flood and landslide are predicted to sweep through small river and stream systems in Lai Chau, Dien Bien and Lao Cai province.

A low pressure trough at 9- 11 degrees latitude north appeared in the southern territorial water of Vietnam. Therefore, the southern territorial water of East Sea from Binh Dinh- Ca Mau and Ca Mau- Kien Giang, Gulf of Thailand, and Spratly Islands are influenced by  bad weather condition of rains, thunderstorms, cyclones and strong winds.
