From November 9- 18, the southern provinces will get caught in the rainy weather and thunderstorm. Particularly, showery rain is forecast to hit the areas on the large scale from November 12- 13.

Because of an influence of severe cold air mass from the north, fog without rain will be seen in the morning and cooler air will come in the evenings.

Temperature in the north is predicted to continue dropping down in next couple days due to an impact of new cold air from November 8.

The lowest temperature in the northern mountainous provinces yesterday measured at 15- 18 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, both the mid- central and north- central regions have been caught in medium to heavy rains.

Currently, water levels of Cuu Long River and Sai Gon River are rapidly rising due to high tide, causing flooding in some lower places of Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long and Can Tho.
