Damaged cold to shoulder over northern & central regions

The cold front and heavy rains are predicted to sweep through the northern and central provinces of Vietnam on the large scale on Thursday, reported the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center.

The cold wave will expand possibly to northern west and mid central region causing medium to heavy rain and its wind speed of 8- 9 level in the areas of Gulf of Tonkin and the north central provinces.

Due to the cold front and northwest and west monsoon, heavy rains will occur in the areas of north, northern west and north mountain region on December 4- 5.

At this time, a damaged cold is forecast to hit the northern mountain provinces. 

The weather in the southern and south central region will be also affected by the cold waves, causing appearance of thick fog daytime.
