High tides to peak at 1.60 meters in following days

According to the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, the water levels on Mekong River and Sai Gon River are slowly rising following the flood tide.

As forecast, the water levels at Phu An Station on Sai Gon River, at Nha Be Station on Dong Dien Canal are respectively expected to peak at 1.55- 1.60 meters on November 27, 28.

Risk of flooding is warned in the low-lying areas along the riverbanks with the high tide of alert level 3.

The weather agency also informed a cold wave triggering showers in the Northern region.

From this afternoon, the North- Central and Mid- Central regions will see rainy weather.
