Out-Of-Season Rains in Southern Provinces

Southern provinces have scorching sun caused by the dry season, according to the Hydrometeorology Forecast Center in southern areas.

The temperature in Ho Chi Minh City on March 13 was over 34oC (higher than the previous days).

Temperatures in southern provinces will decrease by 2-3oC caused by a cold atmosphere.

It will be cold on the eve and in the early morning, and the heat in the afternoon will not be too hot. The temperature in Ho Chi Minh City will be 31-32oC.

There will be out-of-season rains in southern provinces, mainly in the southeastern and coastal areas in the Mekong Delta, but they will mostly be light rains. The tropical low pressure has gradually weakened.

On the early morning of March 13, 2006, the cold atmosphere spread over the north and caused light rains. The lowest temperature was 11oC. Temperatures in highland areas decreased to 7-9oC.
