Southwest monsoon induces rains over southern region

Because of the influence of strong operation of the southwest monsoon, rainfall in the area of Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region also increased sharply on August 12, reported the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center.


Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon induced showery weather, thunderstorm and 6- 7 level strong wind speed in the southern territorial waters of East Sea from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau, from Ca Mau to Kien Giang and Spratly Islands.
Ho Chi Minh City experienced deep cloud, rains at night. The highest temperature reached at 25- 34 degrees Celsius.
