Storm Kalmaegi to become low pressure zone thanks to cold wind

This announcement informed that tropical storm Kalmaegi had formed in the eastern part of Philippines’ Luzon Island.

As forecast, the typhoon is expected to enter the northern territorial water of the East Sea and quickly decrease in intensity to turn into a tropical low pressure zone thanks to strong operation of a cold wave.

The weather agency also issued a prediction of appearance of an additional storm in the East Sea from November 20- 21, triggering medium- heavy to heavy downpours in the Central Highlands and Southern regions.

According to Vice Director of the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center Hoang Phuc Lam, the Northern region continues enjoying sunny and cooler weather.
