Tropical depression appears near East Sea

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting spread updates and warnings about one more low-pressure zone at 14:30pm today, which formed near the East Sea.

The zone is forecast to enter in the East Sea’s south area in next days.

At 13:pm, its direction was at 6.0 to 8.0 degrees north latitude; 120 to 128 degrees east longitude, 910km far from the Philippines’ Palawan island in the southeast

In next 24 hours, the zone will move west- northwest at about 25 to 30km per hour and be able to strengthen into a tropical depression system.

On November 17, the strongest wind speeds will be at level 6 (40 to 50 km per hour).
