Typhoon ‘Hato’ approaching East Sea

A new storm named Hato which strongly operated the eastward offshore of the Philippines, will be able to hit the East Sea reported the Japan Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center.

Its eye yesterday was located at 19.8 degrees north latitude, 126.9 degrees east longitude with a maximum speed of 20 kilometers an hour. 

The tropical typhoon is predicted to move the west- northwestwards. 

The Central Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center said that the northern region will experience sunny weather in the first days of the week.

Meanwhile, both the southern and central region will continue suffering small- medium rains at night because of the operation of tropical low pressure trough. 

From August 23- 24, the southern region will experience medium- heavy rains and thunderstorms due to strong operation of the southwest monsoon and inter-tropical convergence zone on the East Sea by the middle of the week.
