Singer Kat Parsons of Los Angeles is performing at the Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel, 2 Lam Son Square in District 1, Tuesday to Sunday until July 19.
Kat has performed as a solo artist, as well as a lead vocalist, throughout the U.S. and Europe. She has appeared on MTV as well as on the Washington Post, Boston Globe and the Chicago Sun Times.
Kat’s albums have been released in the U.S. and distributed internationally. “No Will Power,” released in 2005, earned US$18,000 just from pre-release sales. “Kat Parsons Limited Edition EP” (2003), and “Framing Caroline” (1999) have sold out.
As a singer with a beautiful voice, Kat has toured many countries to perform various genres of music including jazz, pop songs of between 1960s and 1980s, sentimental and modern songs.
Born in Vienna, Austria to esteemed opera singer Darrell and popular recording artist Julie (with whom she co-wrote "I Know It's Time"), and brought up in Maryland, Parsons studied piano, majored in theatre at Northwestern University.
