Book on fifty top IT companies in Vietnam released

Top fifty IT firms of Vietnam earn over VND20,676 billion ($930 million) in revenue hiring 35,542 employees, the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) wrote in its books released yesterday in Hanoi.

This is the result of an annual event of the IT sector which have been organized by VINASA since 2014 with the aim of selecting, honoring and connecting Vietnamese IT firms with potential domestic and foreign partners.
The book on Vietnam’s 50 leading IT Companies 2017 written in English, Japanese and Vietnamese will introduce the country’s 10,000 IT companies through VINASA’s network in 100 nations in the world and over 2,000 organizations at as many as 20 big IT events at home and abroad.
The event was launched in June, 2017, this year's program organizer has chosen leading IT companies in BPO, IT Outsourcing and KPO; FPT Software, IT services and digital transformation.
Some of these firms are taking the lead in the IT sector such as FPT Software, TMA, Global CyberSoft, KMS, Nash Tech, FIS, CMC, MISA, MobiFone, VNPT, VNG or in high-tech sector such as ELCOM, NextTech, MK Smart, or these with fast growth namely RikkeiSoft, VMG, SmartOSC, FSI.
A VINASA leader said that amongst new global technology trends and the fourth Industrial Revolution 4.0, the selection of the country’s top 50 IT companies marks a change in the sector especially thse companies in the field Digital transformation, IoT (Internet of Things), AI , Big data, and VR.
A ceremony to honor the top 50 firms will be held in the framework of an international conference on smart cities and the Japan ICT Day is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City on October 25.
