This is the contest to offer fund and support services to provide comprehensive support for innovative startups in the field of green and sustainable development.
Entrepreneurs will have a chance to gain access to the supporting capital of up to $75,000 for their ideas / projects. The total value of all prizes is around VND23 billion (approx. $1 million).
This year’s contest especially aims at Vietnamese female entrepreneurs. It is expected that many new women-led startup businesses and potential ones will have an opportunity to develop their technologies, products, and commercial models while contributing to lessening negative effects of climate change and turn the National Green Growth Strategy into reality.
Lately, the Vietnam Climate Innovation Center (VCIC) under the Ministry of Science and Technology has organized two contests to collect ideas to fight against climate change, awarding prizes to 32 excellent startup businesses which were able to help mitigate the adverse effects of this problem.
