Information Security Allocation, Monitoring System for E-Government launched

Within the framework of Vietnam's Information Security Day, the Ministry of Information and Communications yesterday held an opening ceremony of the Information Security Allocation and Monitoring System for Digital Government.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung pressed the button to formally launch the E- government system.

The National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) under the Information Security Department partnered with the members of the alliance to handle malicious code and prevent network attacks including Vietnam Military Telecoms Company (Viettel), Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), CMC, FPT, BKAV to build the system.

The system aims to help monitor and analyze information, thereby to share and give early warnings to ministries, departments and localities to ensure network safety and security for e-government.

Up to now, there have been 31 ministries, departments and localities successfully connected with NCSC.

The system is expected to experiment for six months, and then continues to expand nationwide.
