Italian grapes successfully grown in Da Lat

The Vinh Tien Artichoke and Wine Company successfully produced the first barrels of wine made from Italian grapes grown in ‘the city of flowers,’ Da Lat.

Intalian vines have yielded plenty of fruits in Da Lat.

The deputy director of the company, Le Viet Tien, said that the company last year imported 3,200 feet of Italian vines that have been used for wine production, including Sangiovece, Lambrusco, Cabernesto, Syrah, Melot and Nero.

After one year, the vines have yielded plenty of fruits in the city.

The company has widely planted the vines on 60 hectares in Lac Duong District, in the highland province of Lam Dong.
