Microsoft to Build IT Center in Viet Nam

Microsoft founder Bill Gates’ visit to Viet Nam last April leaves Vietnamese youth with deep impressions

Microsoft Vietnam and the Posts & Telecommunication Institute of Technology (PTIT) signed a five-year memorandum of understanding last week to boost telecommunication and information technology training in Viet Nam.

The two sides will cooperate to build a Microsoft IT training center at the PTIT to educate students according to international standards.

The center is expected to be a popular destination for students from across the country.

The Institute will also assist Microsoft with future plans to create research and design centers in Viet Nam.
