The opening of scientific seminars in the field of neutrino physics by the Recontres du Vietnam yesterday brought opportunities for those who are pursuing the physics.

The events “ The second Mechanobiology Meeting in Vietnam: When Physics meets Biology” and “The third Vietnamese School of Neutrino Physics” were organized in the International Center of Interdisciplinary Science Education (ICISE) in Quy Nhon City of the central province of Binh Dinh with the participation of hundreds of Vietnamese and International scientists.
Professor Tran Thanh Van, founder of Recontres du Vietnam – a development initiative that has brought the world’s renowned scientists to Vietnam for discussions since 1993 – said that the seminars would include basic latest progress and prominent issues relating to the fields
According to Mr. Yuichi Oyama from Japan’s Institute of Particle and Nuclear Studies, KEK, the school aims to attract Neutrino physicists. Around 20-30 Vietnamese and Japanese scientists will be selected to work in ICISE’s Neutrino group and they will continue pursuing Ph.D program in international schools.
