HCM City Publishes New Football Magazine

Licensed by the HCMC’s Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, HCMC Football Federation (HFF) October 5, 2007 published its first monthly magazine called “Bong Da Vui (Football Enjoy).” It will cover various activities and information related to football from different organizations within the city.

The ambition of the publication is not to compete with other newspapers or magazines, but to fill the gaps left by the other publishers.  It aims to address amateur football activities in the city’s districts, football centers, football teams of schools, young players training programs, etc.

This edition is complementary, not for sale. This originally raised many funding concerns; however, with many organizations contributing, it is just like the saying “many hands make light work.”

The first edition, October 2007, was financially supported by many businesses in HCM City. Y Tuong (Ideas) Company handled all of the work for this issue, from design and contents to publication.

“Football is full of fun and we want to share it with all football fans. Professional football is excellent, but amateur players can add excitement too,” said the editor-in-chief Mr. Tran Van Mui, HFF chairman.
