Student Fitness Star Open 2020 announced

Hong Bang International University (HIU) and Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness yesterday jointly announced the second Student Fitness Star Open HCMC 2020.

The annual HCMC Student Fitness Star Open is organized for students with interests in Gym and Fitness to become the Fitness Ambassador and spread the spirit in sport especially Gym and Fitness amongst students.
It is a playground for students’ to bring university and college students in HCMC and neighboring provinces closer and to pave the way for maintaining cultural, artistic and sports activities amongst students.
The first season launched at the end of 2018, in which the organizing board chose Pham Ngoc Xuan, Champion of Season 1 is also the Champion of Vietnam Fitness Model 2019.
This time, entries should be sent from October 15 to December 12 and the preliminary round and the semifinal are slated to take place on December 14 in HIU’s Beethoven hall at 215 Dien Bien Phu Street in District Binh Thanh.
The final round is scheduled to take place from December 23 to January 5 in HIU. Competitors of the final round will compete in model, sport competition, sport fashion and how to inspire sport love to others.
This year, athlete Pham Khac Hy who won gold medal from PCA Korea Super Serie A, Nha Mien who won silver medal of Asian Fitness Model 2018, Kim Nguyen who was crowned as Miss Asia Vietnam 2018, directors Ta Nguyen Phuc and Le Viet, Vice Rector of HIU Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Manh Ha, Dean of PE and National Defense Department of HIU Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Thi Anh Ngoc will work as competition jury.
The announcement ceremony took place with the attendance of Vice Chairman of HCMC Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (FBF) cum Vice Chairman of the competition organizing board Quach Chau Anh Duy, Head coach of HCMC FBF Duong Van Kien, Rector of HIU People’s Teacher. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Thanh Phong.
