VN has 56th gold medal at SEA Games 2017

Vietnamese athlete Pham Thi Tuoi defeated 9- 0 against Singaporean competitor Zyazwani to win a gold medal in the women’s 50 kilograms Pencak Silat at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games this morning.

It is the 56th gold medal of the Vietnamese sports delegation. 

Her companion Tran Thi Them bagged a silver medal in the women’s 55 kilograms class. 

In the men’s Pencak Silat category, athlete Nguyen Dinh Tuan was beat by Malaysian competitor and just earned silver medal.
