VN temporarily ranks third position with 58 gold medals

By 5pm yesterday, the Vietnamese sports delegation temporarily ranked the third position after Malaysia and Thailand at the 29th Southeast Asian Games’ medal tally with total 58 gold, 48 silver and 54 bronze medals.

In the tenth competitive day, Vietnamese athletes earned three more gold and seven silver medals in the categories of Pencak Silat and weightlifting.

Host country Malaysia stood the first position with 130 gold medals, and Thailand was the second position with 64 gold medals.
