HCMC asked to support southwestern provinces in COVID-19 fight

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh has asked Ho Chi Minh City to maintain a high level of vigilance against COVID-19, improve its quarantine capacity, and be ready to support other localities, including southwestern border provinces.

Face masks presented to aid Vietnamese in Laos in Covid-19 fight

As many as 75,000 medical masks as a gift from the Government of Vietnam were presented to Vietnamese people in Laos on November 28 with a view to assisting them in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic that remains complicated around the world.

Ventilators urgently developed, manufactured for Covid-19 fight

Vingroup – a private business conglomerate in Vietnam – has successfully developed its first ventilator model and sent to the Ministry of Health for inspection before mass-manufacturing it. Similarly, Bkav Corporation – a domestic technology giant – is trying to finish its own ventilator model in this May for production. All are striving to help doctors and patients in Vietnam in the fierce combat against Covid-19.
