H1N1 influenza patient saved by ECMO technique in Mekong delta
The General Hospital in the Mekong delta province of Soc Trang yesterday announced physicians have saved a H1N1 influenza man by using extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), a therapeutic option for severe acute respiratory distress (ARDS).
