Typhoon Saudel to affect directly Central Vietnam from October 24

Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control cum Chief of the National Committee for Incident and Disaster Response and Search and Rescue chaired a meeting with relevant agencies this morning in the capital city of Hanoi to adopt measures against newly-formed storm Saudel, rescue operations and urgently overcome damage in the Central region from floods affected by typhoon Linfa and Nangka. 
Boats are always ready to sail as soon as there is news of large schools of fish off the coast.

Lobster catchers earn big money in Central Vietnam

Deadly dengue outbreak overwhelms central Vietnam

More than 62,000 people in the central provinces of Vietnam have infected with deadly dengue fever in ten months of the year, a threefold increase compared to the same period last year. Worse, eight people died of the disease.

Typhoon Nakri weakens after barreling up Central Vietnam

After making landfall in the Central provinces of Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa last night, typhoon Nakri weakened into a tropical low pressure system and a low pressure zone this morning, according to the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.
