Typhoon Nakri--the sixth storm affected Vietnam this year has caused heavy rain and flooding in the South-Central region, posing a threat to many dyke routes and reservoirs which have continuously been hit by storms and flooding recently.

Central provinces from Thua Thien-Hue to Phu Yen continue seeing medium to heavy rainfall in the aftermath of typhoon Usagi, which has degraded into a low pressure zone after making landfall in southern Vietnam on November 25, reported National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.
