Vietnam bans 15-inch MacBook Pro on flights

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has decided to ban passengers and crew members from bringing to planes 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops produced and sold between September 2015 and February 2017.

US to approve direct flights from Vietnam

The United States’ Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is expected to grant a Category 1 rating to Vietnam soon, allowing its airlines to fly to the US and codeshare with US carriers, according to the Strait Times.

Aviation market records stable growth

The number of passengers going through Vietnamese airports is estimated to hit 106 million by the end of this year, a rise of 12.9 percent year-on-year, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).
