E-bus project to be piloted in Ho Chi Minh City

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport yesterday announced that the Government Office assigned the Municipal People’s Committee to chair and cooperate with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and other relevant units and agencies to build and issue economic-technical norms as well as unit cost for electric bus in the city following related regulations.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport coordinated with the functional agencies to discover 47 motorbike and five automobile drivers with their invalid driving licenses and 533 ineligible documents for examination among 3,132 verified driving licenses in 2020.

Ho Chi Minh City to intensify truck load inspection

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport (DOT) assigned its Inspectors to work with the road, railway traffic police forces and relevant units to intensify inspection over truck load at weigh stations and use of portable vehicle weigh pads to strictly handle violations.
