Agricultural exports to EU increase

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), after implementing the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement for two months, the export of agricultural products to the EU has seen positive changes with the total agricultural export value from August 1 to the end of September estimated at US$711 million.

EU opens doors to welcome Vietnam’s agro-forestry-aquatic products

Every year, the situation of fruits and agricultural products being jammed at Northern border gates usually happens before lunar New Year. Nearly 400 vehicles transporting farm produce remain stuck at border gate

After the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development sent a delegation to Tan Thanh Border Gate to catch up with the situation in which 500 trucks carrying agricultural products were jammed here, the Ministry of Industry and Trade on October 22 also sent a delegation to the border gate to look for solutions to resolve congestion.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade on August 21 collaborated with the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to hold a conference on ‘The EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA): Important commitments in agriculture and remarkable issues’ with attendance of the Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang.
