HCMC leader urges sluggish anti-landslide projects

Deputy Standing Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem yesterday evening directed the District People’s Committee of Can Gio, Nha Be, Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi, Thu Duc, Binh Thanh, Go Vap and district 7, 8, 12 to urgently overcome shortcomings in the construction investment  and implementation of disaster preparedness projects.

HCM City to clean up canals

Ho Chi Minh City will spend 29 trillion VND (1.3 billion USD) for anti-flooding and canal dredging, works and cleaning up its highly polluted canal network.
