HCMC boosting digital transformation process via new consultation center

Ho Chi Minh City is building its Support and Consultation Center for Digital Transformation (DXCenter), which is estimated to be in operation in the third quarter this year. SGGP Newspaper conducted an interview with Director of Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) Lam Nguyen Hai Long about the center’s operation and its expected benefits to individuals, businesses sited in the city.

Network carriers transforming into digital technology companies

As revenues from traditional telecoms services like calls, SMS, and Internet provision are significantly affected due to price competitions, giant telecoms enterprises in Vietnam such as VNPT, Viettel, and MobiFone have decided to turn to digital technologies for more profits.

CMSC Data Exchange Platform formally launched

The Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises (CMSC) yesterday cooperated with Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) to hold the conference ‘Establishing an E-government and Performing Digital Transformation in Enterprises’, along with the official introduction of the ‘CMSC Data Exchange Platform’.

First Vietnamese 4D digital map released

The Ministry of Information and Communications yesterday held a ceremony to officially introduce the first Vietnamese 4D digital map, named Map4D. HCMC determines to encourage AI development

Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) People’s Committee has just organized a meeting about strategy planning for the national Artificial Intelligence (AI) development and preparation tasks for the upcoming Vietnam AI Festival 2020.
