SGGP Newspaper, Grab Vietnam offer US$43,000 to flood-hit residents

Through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City, representatives of the Sai Gon Giai Phong (SGGP) Newspaper and the Grab Vietnam Holdings Inc gave VND1 billion (US$43,000) to the Disaster Relief Fund of Ho Chi Minh City yesterday.

HCMC donates VND3.3 billion to flood-hit province of Quang Binh

Politburo member and Head of the Ho Chi Minh City delegation of National Assembly deputies Nguyen Thien Nhan yesterday led a delegation of the city's leaders visited and handed over VND3.3 billion (US$142,036) in cash and necessities to help Quang Binh Province overcome significant damage caused by the recent flood and storm.

PM approves rice aid for flood-hit residents

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has decided to provide 2,000 tonnes of rice from the national reserve as food aid to residents in the central provinces of Quang Binh and Ha Tinh who suffered from serious flooding.
